Default The Pirate Dinner Adventure

We went to this last night and had a great time. They tell you to arrive an hour before show time and I can see why! They had a great pre-show in an area outside the theater along with an appetizer station. Drinks were quite pricey so it was better to wait until we entered the dinner theater because 2 rounds of beer or unlimited soft drinks were included with the meal. We enjoyed the performance - it was a lot of fun. The meal was pretty good - I find that the food at these things tends to be mediocre at best, but it was definitely a step above. They started us off with salad or soup and then served the main course. They had chicken, seafood and pork loin and I was surprised to find that they offer you more than one. I had the pork and the seafood - they served it with Caribbean rice and also red skin potatoes. They were very generous on the helpings and even my fussy son ate his food without complaint so that says a lot really!

The show was put on by an extremely talented and versatile cast. I would not hesitate to recommend this for all ages.

Sounds fun Patty. Never tried a dinner show yet.
Glad you have got there okay and having a good time.

Thanks Mary! Yes - we got here safely and if we can just get some sun and shoo away the rain, we'll be even happier!

This was the second one we tried. We haven't been to Medieval Times - why is that one your favorite? Is it the food or the show?

I KNOW - I'm so excited, never been to New York..

Our older 2 boys are not coming at all so I'm a bit panicky about leaving then for the first time but have to get used to it sometime and luckily MSN and Facebook etc will help me keep tabs on them a bit!!

We arrive at the villa on 28th and are popping to Siesta Key early august for a few days so lots of things planned
