We have been to the one in Orlando and we have also been to a few others. It's a great place to eat. My favorite dish is the Jamaican Black Pepper shrimp - it's served with this mango salsa and fried plantains which I wasn't sure I'd like, but really good! And of course the cheesecake is outstanding!

I agree Patti
It is certainly one of the nicest retaurants with huge helpings and great choice. Don't be shy in asking for them to box your left overs! I had a second meal later at home!
There is often a bit of a wait as it is popular but you can eat in the bar area if you're short of time. Wednesdays used to be jazz night but I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Is this the one at the Mall of Millennia? I am ashamed to say we have never been <:embarr but will remedy that on our next trip. I don't know why we haven't before as we have always heard good things about it.

Yes - it is located at the Mall of Millenia near the main entrance. It's a national chain with locations all over the country. It really is a must try Steve - the menu is extremely diverse, so pretty hard not to like it! And Jo-anne is right about the big portions but that's never a problem because as she said, you can take home your leftovers and enjoy them the next day!

I have been to the one at Millenia Mall and also one at Naples Mall, both were wonderful. I tend to just have starters in the hope I can manage some cheesecake too <:widegrin

Even if you don't decide to eat in you really should take a look at all the cheesecake desserts, just inside the door. They are fantastic - you simply have to stop the diet to try one or two. You can take them home in a box complete with cream - delicious!

We have used the Cheesecake Factory in Orlando, Las Vegas and Miami and had good meals in all of them. We can never manage main course and cheesecake (normally end up with a doggy bag for some of my main course) so we buy a 6 portion cheesecake to take away - always find we get more than 6 portions from it.

We went to the Cheescake Factory around 3 years ago and were not impressed service was terrable and the food not much better, we had to complain to the Manager it was that bad the bill was ridiculous until we actually checked it and found they had charged us for 2 bottles of wine + a $15 corkage for each when we queried it turned out they thought we had brought our own wine (which we did not) we had to then ask well if thats the case why is there a charge for 2 bottles of wine ?????? Manager apologized but not very sincerely we left and have never returned. We may give it another go when we are over for 5 weeks from Sept 1st

Wow - I'm so surprised! But you never know - first of all what appeals to one may not appeal to another. Also, there's always a chance that you can have a bad experience anywhere you go. Hopefully, if you give it another try, it will be different this time! Let us know!

yes it was a horrendous experience we have not repeated there are so many other places to eat. We have just been to Bonefish at the loop and it was terrific once again both food and service

We haven't tried Bonefish yet, but must try it. We have also had a bad experience at Cheesecake Factory as well as good experiences. It does often seem to be who serves you who makes a difference.

That's true and like Liz says, there are SO many places to eat! I've never tried Bonefish - the name sort of turns me off!! LOL! But I'll make sure we put that one on the list for next trip.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and have to admit it wasn't as good as I was expecting. Have been to Bonefish a number of times though and have to say it is excellent - would highly recommend it!

I don't think we have ever been to Bonefish, the name always reminds me though of Fishbones, which we have been to at I-Drive and Sand Lake. We did enjoy our meal there and they do some excellent steaks if you don't fancy fish.

We love the Florida orange juice, it is so different from the sour orange juice we have to buy over here.
