Like many others, I followed the fate of the Chilean miners with interest and was delighted when they were all reunited with their families, after 69 days trapped underground.
So it was great to hear that the president of Walt Disney, Bob Iger, had invited them to spend a week on vacation at Disney World. Thirty one of the thirty three rescued miners will be going, together with their families and several key rescue workers.
They will take part in a special parade at 2.15 on Monday.
