I am having my mum and dad round for dinner today and that for me is the best bit of easter ever.

Yes we hope you all had a great Easter too. The weather here Carol, on the East Coast, has been pretty good apart from Sunday. Plenty of sunshine, though a little cold.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter, too. We went up to London to stay with our daughters and ended up making an unexpected trip to the London Eye on Sunday evening with our middle daughter, who had never been on it. It was 7.30 pm so we had a wonderful view of the city as the sun set. The 4-D show afterwards was good, too. Short but sweet. Not quite up to Disney standards but an added bonus.<:wink

Only sad part is the disgusting state of the area around the Eye. <:thumbdown All the flower beds were stuffed full of litter, and every stairway and corner had piles of decaying rubbish in them. Of course there are no litter bins because of terrorism but it does make the whole area look apalling. What our tourists must think of it I can't imagine. Needs someone to come up with a solution to this problem - fast!
