No matter how many times we do this wonderful ride we always see something different.

Here are some of my favourite photos. This beautiful and graceful giraffe appeared out of the trees and seemed as interested in us as we were in it. The elephants are always a joy to watch, such magnificent creatures, yet so gentle with their offspring.

Somehow Disney manages to give us the impression that we are on a vast savannah.

This rather large ostrich came right up to the side of the vehicle and looked pretty aggressive. We were relieved when the driver moved on.

I love the look on these alligators faces - or are they crocs, I never can tell? - they have a kind of supercillious look, rather as if they can visualise how delicious we might taste....

Puts a whole new perspective on that old song, 'Never smile at a crocodile....'<:widegrin

OH those photos bring back memories. Love this ride. When we went last June a baby giraffe stopped in front of our vehicle so we got a real close up, we were there ages. I will try and find the photo. Will get my daughter to load it on here.

Would love to see that photo, Mary. I love Animal Kingdom, and feel that if animals have to be enclosed they do it well here.

I love watching the lions - apparently the male lions 'hog' the air conditioning and that is why they sit there. :<wink
