Updates to Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Tower of Terror will have new lighting effects this summer as well as a new drop sequence added. This has been created especially for “Summer Nightastic!”, Disney's summer 2010 nighttime theme.

Sounds fun, Patty. I used to be a real wimp where Tower of Terror was concerned. Got as far as the lift doors the first time we went and chickened out. Now I almost enjoy it....<:omg

I still remember the first time we went on Tower of Terror, it had only been open a few weeks. There was only 1 drop, all the way down!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought my head actually lifted off my shoulders!!!!!!!!

lol.... Yes it was like that at first then they have reprogrammed it over the years so that it goes so far down, then back up and jolts a couple of times etc. Apparently it is random now and so no two rides are the same. It will be interesting to see what it will be like now :)
