In the Italy pavilion, an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria is planned for opening in the fall of 2010. The same restaurant group who runs the pavilion’s Tutto Italia Ristorante will open a 300-seat pizzeria with indoor and outdoor dining inspired by Naples 45 on East 45th Street in New York City.

The menu will feature authentic pizza baked in wood burning ovens, pastas, salads, sandwiches and Italian wines.

Mmmm.... I hope it is open when we go in Sept. <:hungry We have tried a few of the eating places in EPCOT. You know what we have eaten most? Fish n Chips at Harry Ramsden's <:embarr I know, I Know the crazy thing is we hardly ever eat them in this country! We have eaten in the German buffet restaurant that is quite good, having lived in Germany for 6 years I though it was quite authentic. We did try to eat in the French restaurant but after ordering 2 well done Steak Au Poivre and both times coming back still bleeding and having to wait so long each time we decided against it. We have had the Chinese quick service a couple of times and found that to be pretty tasteless. I want to try the Canadian one one day. We have had Japanese food elsewhere but never tried it at EPCOT. Has anyone else tried any of the restaurants at EPCOT?

We have managed to work our way through one meal in each country over the years! I thought Canada was great - the lasting impression for me was the bread basket. There was an assortment - some I'd never even seen, all excellent!

The hibachi restaurant in Japan was really no different than any other hibachi restaurant we have eaten at - it was very good, but nothing special.

I'd have to say that my favorite was the restaurant in Morocco probably because it was unlike anything I'd ever had. Like most of the restaurants in the World Showcase, great ambience and there were even belly dancers performing during our meal!

We have been to the Mexican restaurant San Angel Inn several times, nice ambiance, nice food.
