Vs 27/28

I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but when booking our flights for September we can't see Virgin's VS 27 flight from Gatwick. It may be that they have suspended it during that period. I do know that it is still part of their operation but maybe they have learnt from previous years when both flights have been half full during that time of year. We have ended up booking the later VS15 leaving at 13:00.

Steve i am bot sure if it cutbacks as we are hoping to go in May and the flight i was looking at has been cancelled to one flight on the 9th.(full) There are other dates as well going down to one flight.
We have friends going in April and their flight has been merged with the early one, i think that was on the 27th April.
I have to go back to work now and see if i can get the saturday off as extra and go the 8th, if not be the 10th which cuts our days down again. :(
Still going will be good enough otherwise it will be a year before we can get over.
Bet you cannot wait for September, how long you going for?

Hi Mary, yes it does look like they are merging some of the flights. We are only going for 2 weeks but hey, i'll take that anyday!! :) Hope you manage to get it sorted at work. <:thumbup

A sad fact of the economy and cost cutting. Airlines are allowed to cancel a small percentage of flights without losing their slots so this is something that will continue until the airlines go back into profit
