Does anybody know if Disney Quest is still open? I remember hearing awhile back that it was closing but then I heard that it didn't! We went about 4 years ago and it was interesting to say the least. I'm not a big fan of video games and this place certainly caters to the video game generation, but like everything Disney, there's no place anywhere quite like it and I found a couple of games in particular that really hooked me!

As far as I know Patty it is still there and I haven't heard anything about it closing. It always seems very popular and there are always lots of people in there when I have been in. I like it and it's great fun for the kids. I did the cartoon drawing thing where they teach you how to draw a Disney character, I also like the little Cheesecake Factory burger bar on the top floor too. :)

Yes - I liked the Cheesecake Factory burger bar too Steve!! I think my favorite game was the Mighty Ducks pinball - probably because it was the one thing that I had great success at for some reason. My kids were pretty floored when I whipped all my opponents (including them!) - too bad there wasn't a prize!<:wink

It certainly still appears as one of the options on the park tickets, so I imagine it must still be there. We have never been there but I am sure children would find it great fun.

We went a couple of years ago when they were saying it was to close and at the time several of the games and exhibits were not working properly and we assumed this was as it was scheduled for closure so I hope if it is still open they have improved it.

Same for us it was not all working. Would be nice if it has been updated. If no one knows before my next trip over i will go take a look.

The Cheesecake Factory have apparently lost their contract now so it is no more. Disney Quest is still advertised on their website but it has, apparently not had any upgrades since they introduced the Pirates of the Caribbean game.

Wow - hadn't heard that about the Cheesecake Factory losing their contract. I wonder how Disney Quest does manage to stay open - that's been a very long time since they put the Pirates of the Carribean in.

I would say that the majority of visitors to DQ are multiday passholders, that pop in for a few hours at a time as the cost for a one day ticket is not cheap, it is around $45 for adults and $37 for kids. So for a family of four it works out to an expensive day.

That's probably true - I know when we went, we used the option on our multi-day passes. Can't be much of a money maker if everybody does it that way.
