In an effort to promote volunteer service, beginning January 1rst, 2010, Disney kicks off a national program that will reward 1 million people who give back to their community with a free one-day admission ticket.
You must pre-register at Disneyparks.com and sign up for an eligible volunteer opportunity. Disney has partnered with HandsOn Network, the nation’s largest volunteer network, to determine volunteer opportunities across the U.S. and Canada. Projects include planting a garden, visiting a nursing home, painting a school and assembling backpacks for needy schools.
