If you should find time to visit the Miami area there is a wonderful mall called the Aventura Mall, which is one of the most stylish shopping centres in the area. Situated between Miami and Hallendale Beach, Aventura Mall is close to the I-95, and with easy access from the Florida Turnpike or the Palmetto Expressway, you can also drive up via the fascinating A1A all the way from Miami.

Whenever we are in the are we enjoy strolling round this recently updated mall, which has JC Penney, Bloomingdales, Sears and Maceys as the anchor stores, but inside there are numerous other stores and a large food mall.

There is plenty of parking, too.

Second your comments Ellie - we like this mall and have visited several times. It was revamped a couple of years ago so looks quite smart. Last time we visited near Christmas they had the most wonderful working minature village with trains display. (All 3 boys spent ages watching it)

We have never seen it at Christmas, but it sounds beautiful with the miniature village. They do things so well in Florida, don't they?

We took a few photos whilst we were there, but they were still revamping so I guess it looks even better now. We thought the tiles round the elevator were quite beautiful.
