We once saw the Captain of the England Football team, John Terry. He was on Rock n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios at the same time as my son. He got off the ride (we were waiting in the shop as my husband and I are both wimps) and he told us John Terry was just coming along behind. Of course, not being a football fanatic I had no idea whatsoever who he was, but as we left we saw his party being escorted via a secret doorway to another part of the park.

Did manage to get this photo - of his back as he appeared to disappear through the wall! <:lol

We saw the bloke from Hollyoaks and Strictly Come Dancing, Ricky Whittle when we were in Magic kingdom last year.

He's not really that famous unless you watch either of those programmes but he was spotted by my friends daughter who was 16, a Hollyoaks fan, she thought he was gorgeous..

I don't think I've ever run into anybody famous randomly while in Orlando. I was pretty excited to get to see Levar Burton reading at the Candlelight Processional in Epcot a couple years back though!

We have seen one or two famous people since we have been travelling to Florida.

The first ones we saw was back around 1994 and that was Paul Daniels, Debbie Magee and his Son Martin. He was staying the Peabody on I-Drive and we saw him in Denny's! He was minus his toupee and in a pair of shorts and t-shirt. Very friendly and chatty with those that spoke to him.

Then a couple of years later we saw "Tinhead" out of Brookside at Busch Gardens, not sure of his real name.

Then in 2006 we saw Keith Chegwin in Publix on the 27, pushing his shopping trolley with his younger lady and her child.

With regards to entertainers, we saw Blair Underwood one year and Andy Garcia the next at the candlelight processional at Epcot.

We saw Robbie Williams at Hard Rock Live around 2001 when he was doing his US tour (Trying to crack the US) The cost of the ticket? $12! The cost to see the Pet Shop Boys the week before was $40, he wasn't that famous in the US and the show was full of very happy UK tourists! It was a really great show too. Probably the best received of all of his shows!! He seems really gobsmacked that so many Brits we in the audience!

The same year was a bonus as we also got to see Robert Palmer at Pleasure Island on the West End Stage, great show. Another act we saw on the West End Stage was Little Richard and he was brilliant!! We didn't know what was on at PI, we just wondered in and saw his name on the advertising, he came on a blew everyone away. No extra charges for either of these acts just regular admission. On 2 New Years Eve's we saw The B-52's one year and Blondie the next year. Sadly these sort of occurrences won't be happening at PI any more.

We have also seen The Moody Blues at Hard Rock Live and I think that is about it.

Not knowingly seen anyone famous in Orlando, but have come across people I know, but hadn't seen for years in Typhoon Lagoon, Universal and Florida Mall.

We saw Tony Blackburn, Keith cheggers, Keith Alan and another radio guy at Island of Adventure. They were on the other side of the bridge from us, when i pointed them out to my two (21 and 18 at the time) they just looked and said who. We did get a wave from them, but i bet they would not have been smiling if they heard the kids saying "who are they".

Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz and her family were just across the isle from us on the plane home from Florida once. She was on the Holiday Programme a couple of months later

Mary, your post reminded me - we saw Keith Chegwin filming for GMTV when we were at Kissimmee Rodea about 3 years ago.

They fimed the children and Kyle was on for about 2 seconds...

I sat next to Paul Burrell on the plane a couple of years ago. Whatever you think of the guy he was fantastic company and his stories kept me going throughout the long journey. I am a real Princess Diana fan and what he talked about - true or false - was fabulous!

That must have been a very interesting way of passing the time on a flight, Jo-anne.
