If you're looking for a cultural experience, the Orlando Museum of Art is worth a visit. The museum has three permanent exhibits which include American Art, African Art, and Art of the Ancient Americas. In addition, there are temporary exhibits which change frequently.
Special events at the museum include "1st Thursdays" which offer local artists the opportunity to showcase their work on the first Thursday of each month, Festival of the Trees in November when the museum gets decked out for the holidays, and an Antique Show and Sale in February.
There are also, lectures, classes and seminars offered throughout the year.
