Lovely photos. Looks like you did a bit of travelling on your trip.
We have Mount Dora on our next trip list.
Must get a bigger book as the list keeps growing.

Mary,

Mount Dora was lovely. We went on a Sunday morning and there were lots of bikers all dressed in similar clothes, it must be some sort of regular thing as they all arrived stayed about 15 mins and then left.

We sat on a terrace of a cafe and had lunch and then had a walk around.

The shops are very 'quaint' , nic nacs and antiques - lovely way to spend a morning.

We love Mount Dora. It is more of a 'town' than most places around Orlando. There are lots of restaurants and a French Quarter, plus dozens of antique shops.

We found a nice place for a drink and a cake down by the lake, beside a big hotel.

It is certainly a great place to go to escape the hurly burly.

We love Mount Dora and there's a lovely English tea shop if you are in need of a cuppa!

Have you ever eaten there, Jo-Anne? We walked past and it looked very nice.

I have to confess we were very greedy Ellie. We went there and had a cup of tea because we were desperate for a cuppa. then we went to the hotel for breakfast, then back to the tea rooms for afternoon tea. Massive portions of fab food.
I've got some lovely photos so I'll see if I can post them.

We can also recommend Mount Dora, we also took a train from Eustis to Mount Dora and had lunch on board. It was a really lovely trip - well recommended

We saw that train, Debbie and if we had had more time we would definitely have booked a trip on it. We like to find things that are a little bit different.
